Viña Alberdi Crianza 2019 is one of the most representative red wines of La Rioja Alta, S.A. , a historic winery in the Estación district of Haro. Made from 100% Tempranillo , it comes from vineyards located in the highest areas of Rodezno and Labastida , planted on clay-limestone soils and over 40 years old, which gives balance and concentration to the wine.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for about 24 months in American oak barrels , with traditional rackings that contribute to its finesse and stability. This aging process integrates the fruit with elegant wood notes, resulting in a classic Rioja, refined and very faithful to the winery's style.
In the glass it has a bright garnet color with cherry reflections. On the nose aromas of ripe red fruit stand out - strawberry, raspberry or blackberry - accompanied by balsamic and spicy notes such as vanilla, cinnamon or clove. The palate is round, fresh and balanced , with soft tannins and a long, aromatic finish. A very versatile red wine at the table, ideal to accompany rice dishes, grilled meats, stews or cured cheeses.
