Viña Meín Blanco 2018 is the flagship wine of Viña Meín Winery , one of the historic references of the Ribeiro DO in Galicia. It is made primarily from Treixadura , the native grape that leads the blend, complemented by other local white varieties such as Godello, Albariño, Loureira, Torrontés and Lado , which add aromatic complexity and balance.
The grapes come from different vineyard plots located on granitic terraces in the Avia Valley, where the Atlantic climate helps produce fresh and elegant wines. After fermentation, the wine rests on its lees for about 10 months in different vessels , adding texture, depth and complexity.
In the glass it reveals aromas of ripe white fruit, citrus notes and delicate floral hints , with a distinctive mineral background typical of Ribeiro wines. On the palate it is fresh, balanced and silky , with lively acidity and a long, refined finish. A very gastronomic white wine, ideal with seafood, fish, rice dishes or Atlantic-style cuisine.
