Technical data:Their pigs spend the first stage of their lives on their farm, feeding on natural cereals produced on-site until they reach a weight of between 40 and 50kg, at which point they access the dehesas.
In these pastures, they enjoy an exquisite diet composed of this selection of cereals as well as grasses, tubers, roots, and acorns, reaching 90/100kg by early October (when the montanera begins), at which point they feed exclusively on acorns until they reach an approximate weight of 180kg in adulthood. This is essential to maintain the Iberian breed and be able to call it acorn-fed Iberian.
