The red wine Destí, made by Mervm Priorati, is a true reflection of the richness of the Priorat, a wine region with a Qualified Denomination of Origin. This wine is made exclusively from grapes from its own estates, using a blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2020 vintage is characterized by careful manual harvesting, performed in 20 kg boxes, followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel and aging for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels. Its aromatic profile includes mineral notes and ripe fruit, making it a perfect pairing for meat dishes and aged cheeses. The Priorat region, with its llicorell geology and low rainfall, provides the grapes with a unique and concentrated character. This wine, unfiltered and unclarified, retains great intensity on the palate, highlighted by its smoothness and balance.
