If you are thinking of buying wine with identity, freshness, and elegance, the Vino Tinto Flâneur The Young Stroller Malbec is an exceptional option to discover a new expression of international wine from the heart of the Valle de Uco, in Mendoza, Argentina. Coming from Gualtallary, Tupungato, this wine reflects the richness of a high-altitude terroir, where Malbec reaches extraordinary levels of quality and complexity.
The Los Flâneur winery proposes, through its The Young Stroller line, a journey through the landscapes of Mendoza from a young, curious, and sensory perspective. This Malbec is the result of a respectful elaboration, designed to preserve the purity of the fruit and the unique character of its origin.
The vineyards are managed in head-trained and cordon-trained systems, with shallow furrow irrigation, and are located on alluvial, rocky, deep, and calcareous soils, with a marked slope that favors natural drainage. The altitude and proximity to the mountain range provide thermal amplitude and cool breezes, extending the vegetative cycle of the vine and ensuring slow and balanced ripening.
The winemaking process begins with a manual harvest in 20 kg boxes, followed by a rigorous selection of clusters. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed into stainless steel tanks, after carefully removing the stems. A 48-hour pre-fermentation maceration is carried out, followed by 14 days of fermentation and a 25-day post-fermentation maceration, which imparts structure, depth, and quality to the wine.
Subsequently, the wine is aged for 6 months in French barrels of 3rd, 4th, and 5th use, giving it complexity without overshadowing the fruity expression. The result is a vibrant, floral, and mineral Malbec, with notes of black fruits, violets, mountain herbs, and subtle spicy touches.
On the palate, it stands out for its freshness, silky texture, and polished tannins, making it ideal to pair with grilled meats, spicy dishes, or aged cheeses.
If you want to buy Argentine red wine that combines origin, character, and authenticity, the Flâneur The Young Stroller Malbec Gualtallary is a perfect choice. And if you need help choosing, our sommelier will be happy to assist you. Dare to be a Flâneur of flavor and let yourself be carried away by this unique experience from the Argentine Andes.
