Sight: 'Brillante color rojo picota y capa media.'
The Enemy Mine Red Wine belongs to the Casa Rojo winery and is included in the D.O.P. Jumilla. It was only on a warm night that summer that we discovered, lurking, who the scoundrel was that was devouring those sweet grape berries from our vineyard...
This wine is made with 100% Garnacha grapes. The Enemy Mine Red Wine is the result of a very low production vintage, but one that is highly concentrated and of great quality. The 2017 production is limited to 40,000 bottles. The Garnacha vineyards are located in Paraje de la Raja.
Pruning takes place in August to adjust the production to the desired concentration. Harvesting is done manually and in small 12-kilogram boxes for the perfect entry of the grapes into the winery. Aging is carried out with a brief passage through 11,000-liter fudres.
It has an alcohol content of 13.5%. Additionally, it has a total acidity of 5.55 g/l, a pH of 3.78 g/l, and 3.5 g/L of residual sugar.
Wine has accompanied mankind since the beginning of time. Its culture, cultivation techniques, methods of production, transportation, presentation, and enjoyment have constantly evolved thanks to creative individuals who dared to take the next step in innovation. The philosophy of the Casa Rojo winery believes in this constant creative evolution and expresses it in its bottles. Casa Rojo Creative Enology is located on Carretera de la Zarza, km 8, La Raja, in the province of Murcia. This winery presents a project with wines from different parts of Spain with a revolutionary and groundbreaking vision.
