This is a tequila that rests between 2 and 6 months in French oak barrels that previously contained Cognac to achieve a different touch. The blue agave pineapples are manually selected when they have already matured for 6-7 months and with sugar levels between 24 and 27%. This level of sweetness plus the strategy of cutting in halves instead of pieces, gives the Reposado a sweetness and bronze color, with subtle aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, and buttery caramel. All of this makes it leave a silky, warm, and rich finish on the palate.
Tequila Rooster Rojo Reposado is a 100% Hand Selected Blue Agave tequila. The agave pineapples come from the Highlands of Jalisco and Tequila in Mexico, from carefully selected and cultivated fields. The water used in the distillation process of this tequila is filtered with Mexican silver, which gives the tequila a complex character and smoothness on the palate.
