With 14 months of aging, this is a very intense red wine. It has a very deep cherry color with a slightly violet rim. The aroma is fine, with ripe black fruits mixing with the toasted notes (vanilla, spices, etc.) provided by the barrels. It is a quite complex aroma. In the mouth, it is balanced, meaty, ripe, and has a taste of candied black fruits with notes of licorice and a good amount of minerality. Additionally, we can say that it has very mature tannins that integrate into the structure of the wine, giving a pleasant and persistent aftertaste. Together with the oak from the barrels, it adds a remarkable complexity that will improve during its time in the bottle.
