Organic Powdered Agar Agar 60g by Salud Viva. A plant-based product, flavorless and odorless, obtained from the gelification of red seaweed and used as a thickener and gelling agent in cooking. Ideal for desserts, jams, jellies, mousses, custards, creams, and sauces, among others. Gluten-free.

Instructions

Mix 2g of agar agar in 100ml of cold liquid. Heat slowly and let it boil for 1-2 minutes while stirring constantly. In the case of a cold preparation, let it cool slightly and then gradually add the other ingredients. Optimal gelification is achieved after approximately 3 hours of refrigeration. 2g of powdered agar agar (1 level teaspoon) is equivalent to about 6 sheets of animal gelatin.
