Made with raw milk from Churra and Castellana sheep, pure and native breeds from the province of Zamora.
Handcrafted with raw sheep's milk from the Churra and Castellana breeds, pure and native breeds from the province, known for their high dairy aptitude and remarkable quality levels, under the Protected Designation of Origin Queso Zamorano. It has a natural brown rind with a well-defined pleita, bathed in olive oil during maturation. The firm and compact ivory-yellow paste may contain small eyes evenly distributed throughout the cheese.
Zamorano cheese is characterized by genuine aromas and flavors, typical of raw sheep's milk, well developed and persistent on the palate. Additionally, olfactory and gustatory characteristics reminiscent of sheep's milk, cooked butter, or nuts can be appreciated, due to the traditional grazing system that feeds our sheep and the long maturation in the cellar.
TASTING: Consume at room temperature. We recommend breaking it into small pieces to fully appreciate its intensity, flavors, and aromas.
Maturation: +12 months.
Zamorano PDO Sheep Cheese.
