Production and Aging

Alaya Tierra is a 100% Garnacha Tintorera single varietal wine. Maceration-fermentation in small stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging in French and American oak barrels for 15 months.

Tasting Notes for Alaya Tierra

• Appearance: Alaya Tierra has an intense cherry color with very high layer and vibrant red tones.
• Nose: Interesting and complex aromatic profile with prominent minerals and ripe black and red fruits, with pleasant hints of new wood.
• Palate: On the palate, it is ample, powerful, dense, and mature, with balanced acidity and a silky texture. It surprises us with an original sweetness in a very long finish.

Pairing

Alaya Tierra is ideal to accompany rice dishes with game and creamy stews, braised legumes, mushrooms, game and poultry, casseroles, fish and seafood in sauce, smoked foods, aged and blue cheeses, grilled white and red meats.

The appropriate storage and serving temperature to fully enjoy this wine should be around 15ºC. It is important for the temperature to remain constant, avoiding thermal jumps that could negatively affect its quality.
