Making
It undergoes controlled fermentation at a temperature of between 22 and 26º in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. Likewise, thisred wine has a maceration of between 10 to 18 days and rests in American and French oak vats.
Bodegas Olarra
The origins of this winery come from a building, a work by Juan Antonio Ridruejo in 1973, designed and conceived for wine. Most emblematic is its roof that crowns the barrel room, which is formed by 11 hexagonal domes that helps to avoid sudden changes in temperature.
This design was intended to be transmitted to the wines and in the way the wines are made, as in Añares, where a wine is sought that adapts and evolves to stay on trend over time. To become emblems of the true Rioja wine.
For the Añares line, there are not only red wines, but also whites, rosés and special vintages. This puts Bodegas Olarra as one of the emblematic wineries in the area and which has remained a benchmark of Rioja wine, adaptable and has been able to continue with the passage of time.
