The elver is the offspring of the eel and its origin is the Sargasso Sea. There, eels spawn and their eggs are carried by currents until they reach the mouths of European rivers in the form of elvers.
It is a highly appreciated product with a delicate production process, it is an authentic gourmet product.
Agromar's elver is genuine, not a substitute as is often seen in the market. It is the offspring of the eel, a very scarce and difficult to obtain product. They are boiled in water and salt, drizzled with olive oil and a chili pepper, and canned.
