Simply fill the disc with wood chips, place it on the back of your grill, wait until your barbecue is smoking enough, place your food around the disc, smoke it some more and voila!

Tasting notes for Ardbeg An Oa

Round and smoky, with creamy caramel, aniseed, treacle and dates. A curious union of juicy fruits, such as peach and banana.

Reminiscent of the classic Ardbeg fragrance: lime, pine resin, fennel, soap and tar. A soft wax, like fragrant candle wax, and hints of smoky herbs. An Oa offers a subtle final reminder of the sea with salty notes and seaweed, accompanied by a delicious creaminess.

A smooth and creamy texture leads to a bold syrupy sweetness, flavours of milk chocolate, molasses caramel, aniseed, orange and smoked tea leaves. Soft and sweet spices (nutmeg and cinnamon), some cigar smoke and a unique grill note. The wood is always present in the spirit, softly nutty and reminiscent of a carpenter's workshop.
