INDICATIONS ACTIVE COMPONENTS: • Cynara scolymus………….. (leaves) Active principles with pharmacological action: • Caffeic derivatives: Cynarin. • Flavonoids: cynaroside, scolimoside and cynaratrioside. • Alcoholic acids: citric, glyceric, lactic, glycolic and malic acids. Properties: • Diuretic effect that promotes the elimination of fluids, toxins and uric acid (gout). • Liver protector. • Decrease in blood pressure. • Decrease in blood cholesterol. • Prevention of arteriosclerosis. • Decreases blood glucose concentration.
