Container: Botella de vidrio
Mark: Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro - Ctra. nº122 Aranda-Valladolid Km 325 - 47350 Quintanilla de Onésimo (España)
Weight: 75 cl.
Coming from the finest vineyards in Valladolid and Burgos owned by Arzuaga Navarro, this Crianza delivers an elegant, refined, and subtle wine profile, providing smooth and velvety sensations that endure over time thanks to its breadth and length.
Vineyard
The Tempranillo variety with which this wine is made belongs 70% to the La Maquinilla vineyard, the oldest in the La Planta Estate (Arzuaga Navarro); cultivated at 911 meters above sea level in clay-limestone soils, with the limestone bedrock at one meter from the surface, along with 30% of grapes from century-old vineyards with pebble and sandy soils, from the province of Burgos.
Production
In mid-October, when the grapes have reached optimal ripeness, they are harvested in 15kg boxes, then they go through a selection table and are destemmed before being placed in stainless steel tanks, where after a few days macerating in cold, they ferment at a maximum temperature of 26ºC. Aging for 16 months in barrels, 75% French oak and 25% American oak, makes it an elegant, fine, and subtle wine.
