Apzilicueta winery is completely satisfied with this bright and aromatic crianza, thanks to the native grape varieties used, Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo, which, according to their own winemaker, Elena Adell, bring freshness and joy to the wine. A full-bodied, smooth, balanced, and pleasant Rioja Crianza.
Varieties: 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, and 5% Mazuelo. Production and Aging: Manual harvest. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature around 25ºC. Maceration for approximately 12 days. This wine has been aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, with dominance of American oak over French oak. It completes its aging process for a minimum period of 6 months in bottle. Tasting Notes: Sight: Cherry red color, with good intensity, lively with golden highlights. Mouth and Nose: Clean and bright. The nose is perfumed, with notes of fruit standing out, on a background of toasted wood and subtle aromas of vanilla, coconut, and spices. Serving Temperature and Pairing: 12º - 16ºC. Ideal to accompany cured meats, rice dishes, vegetables, mushrooms, white and red meats.
