Barón De Ley Reserva was named the best Rioja by the English magazine Decanter. Made with Tempranillo, it has a great balance between fruit and well-integrated wood, power, and richness.
Barón de Ley is located in the Imas Monastery in Mendavia, restored in the years 95 and 96, its furniture and decoration take us back to past centuries.
Barón De Ley Reserva is made from grapes grown in our own vineyards in Mendavia (Rioja Baja). It is aged for 20 months in new American oak barrels, and then an additional 24 months in the bottle to reach its full maturity for consumption. This wine has not undergone any filtration or stabilization processes, so it may contain natural sediments.
Barón De Ley Reserva is ideal for accompanying meats, Iberian ham, and Riojan cuisine. It is recommended to decant before consuming and serve at a temperature between 17 and 18ºC.
