Blaneo Chardonnay 75cl. It is a Wine from the Navarra D.O. Made with 100% Chardonnay Grapes by Bodegas Pagos De Araiz.
Handpicked, the grapes go to the press after being destemmed. The must undergoes a natural settling in a steel tank and the next day it is racked into new 500-liter French oak barrels for the development of alcoholic fermentation. This process lasts 25 days, after which it is racked and aged again in the same barrels with its lees, with regular batonnages, for 6 months. In February, after a gentle clarification, it is bottled.
SIGHT: Straw yellow with slightly golden tones. Clean and bright.NOSE: Floral notes stand out over citrus fruit, light toasts give it aromatic complexity. Intense and perfumed.PALATE: Fruity sensation of maturity accompanied by acidity that prolongs in the mouth, with a finish that recalls yellow fruits, aromas of white flowers and a luscious, long body. It is a wine that invites you to enjoy it in good company.
The vineyard it comes from is known as "Chardonnay Chamaco". It is a vineyard with very limited production due to its poor sloping terrain. This gives the grapes a particular concentration. The 2019 harvest was marked by a dry winter and a rainy spring followed by a dry summer. The production of this wine is 1,200 bottles.
