Borsao SUIA from Bodegas Borsao, a single-varietal Viognier. This single-varietal white wine from vineyards located on the terraces of the Huecha river, has spent 9 months in contact with the lees in French oak. The wood gives it structure and the contact with the yeast provides it with a lot of unctuousness, fatness, and sweetness. It is a wine for aging, as it continues to evolve in the bottle, gaining balance and complexity. Tasting notes: It has a bright golden-yellow color. On the nose, it has intense aroma and great complexity, with floral and ripe fruit notes. There are also spicy aromas from its time in barrel. On the palate, flavors of candied fruit, apricot, quince, tangerine peel, ginger, and nutmeg come through.
