The Brandy Lepanto Pedro Ximénez Solera Gran Reserva of Bodegas Gonzáles Byass is made from Palomino fino grapes and distilled in copper stills by the Charentais method, which involves a double distillation.
The holandas of Lepanto are aged in American oak casks for 15 years using the traditional system of criaderas and solera that previously contained Tío Pepe wine for 12 years and 3 years in casks that contained Noé Pedro Ximénez wine.
At the González Byass Winery a unique process is carried out, controlling from the harvest to the final product. Lepanto exudes excellence throughout its production process, to deliver the best Gran Reserva Brandy.
The raison d'être of Gonzáles Byass is the production and marketing of wines and spirits, always faithful to its roots as a family winery and the quality standards that were established from the beginning.
Currently Gonzáles Byass has 14 wineries in Spain, Chile and Mexico and a range of highly recognized premium distillates.
The work and development of singular wines and spirits has led Gonzáles Byass to reap numerous awards around the world. Of all of them, the awards "Best European Winery" from The Wine Enthusiast, "Best Spanish Producer" in Mundus Vini, "Len Evans Trophy" from the International Wine Challenge, as well as the inclusion in the ranking "The World's Most Admired Wine Brands" by Drinks International stand out.
