Elaboration and aging

Campillo Crianza is a varietal wine made from Tempranillo grapes. The grapes are harvested completely by hand. After being transported to the winery facilities, the Campillo Crianza grapes are fermented and macerated in 30,000-kilogram tanks under controlled conditions for about two weeks.

Finally, Campillo Crianza is aged in second-year American oak barrels for 18 months before being bottled, where it also rests until the final moment of commercialization.

Tasting note of Campillo Crianza

• Appearance: Campillo Crianza has a dark cherry red color with reddish reflections.
• Nose: Predominant aromas of ripe red fruit, with spicy and toasted notes.
• Palate: A flavorful and full-bodied wine, well-structured, balanced, with good acidity and a wide range of flavors. Elegant.

Pairing

Campillo Crianza is ideal to accompany any type of meat, grilled mushrooms, some strongly flavored or fatty fish such as tuna or cod, Emmental or Gruyere cheese, and mushroom rice. It is recommended to be consumed at a temperature between 16-18ºC.
