Elaboration and aging
Carmelo Rodero Crianza is a blend of 90% Tinta del País (Tempranillo) and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is made from our own vineyards, which are over 15 years old, using traditional winemaking techniques with the most modern temperature control methods for fermentation and maceration.
Aged in French and American oak for a minimum of 15 months, with rackings every 3 months. Minimum bottle aging of 12 months before commercialization.
Tasting Notes for Carmelo Rodero Crianza
- Appearance: Carmelo Rodero Crianza has a high layer ruby color, maintaining excellent cherry notes with rosy nuances, in a perfectly clean and bright medium.
- Nose: Its aromas, still varietal, are the first to appear, well accompanied by a smooth roast flavor well blended with its final touch of licorice, even more delicate.
- Pallet: Structured and meaty with an excellent bouquet that lingers in the mouth after filling it with intense flavor; perfectly balanced wine, long and generous in taste sensations.
Pairing
Carmelo Rodero Crianza is ideal to accompany fried eggs with ham, cured meats, roasted red meats, stews, red meats with sauce, casseroles, vegetables, and semi-cured cheeses.
It is recommended to consume this red wine at a temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
