La Planta 2020 is a red wine that stands out for its quality and tradition in winemaking, recognized as the all-rounder from Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro. This semi-aged wine is made from Tempranillo grapes from over 20-year-old vines grown on its estate, giving it a meaty structure and surprising softness. Its production in Quintanilla de Onésimo since the 1990s reflects a commitment to perfection and aesthetics. The grapes are carefully handpicked at the optimal point of ripeness, collected in 15 kg boxes, and then the bunches are manually selected. A cold maceration is performed followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Afterward, the wine is aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels, achieving a perfect balance between fruitiness and elegance. Tasting La Planta reveals a wine with a cherry-red color and violet hints. Fresh aromas of high fruitiness, licorice, and touches of noble wood emerge on the nose, while on the palate it presents itself as velvety and flavorful, with an ideal balance between youth and maturity. It's a wine that can be enjoyed alone or paired with grilled meats, and it's recommended to serve between 14 and 16ºC.
