Castiñeiro Espadeiro is a single-varietal red wine made with Espadeiro grapes from 40-year-old vineyards located in the Salnés Valley.
The grapes are destemmed and fermented in open oak barrels, followed by a two-week maceration with daily punch-downs. Subsequently, the wine ages for 6 months in used French oak barrels.
This process results in a fresh and light wine, with vibrant acidity and round tannins.
