Elaboration and Aging

Bollinger Rosé is a champagne made with grapes from the varieties 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay, and 14% Meunier. The main component of Bollinger Rosé champagne is the Spécial Cuvée, to which between 5% and 6% of red wine is added, made exclusively from grapes from the Bollinger vineyard's Grands Crus.

This champagne ferments in French oak barrels that have previously contained Chardonnay. It is made from reserve wines of great vintages to which Pinot Noir is added.

It has an aging period of 36 months in the cellars.
