TASTING NOTES of Diego Rivera Crianza wine
Visual phase: Clean and bright appearance, with a cherry red color, with weak violet hues, indicating that this wine still retains some youthful characteristics.
Olfactory phase: It presents good aromatic intensity and although at first complex tertiary aromas bloom, formed during aging, as the wine opens up, new sensations emerge and soft spicy notes and memories of primary aromas of forest fruits, ripe berries, appear, giving rise to a grape-wood blend, which is slowly reducing in the bottle.
Gustatory phase: It shows a good body, being smooth on the palate and with a certain sensation of freshness. Intense flavors, black fruits of the variety mixed with certain roasted and banana notes, both imparted by the barrel, are appreciated again. In general, its good structure and balance stand out, with fine and elegant tannins that give a very pleasant volume.
It should be noted that this wine has not been subjected to physical-chemical treatments for tartaric stabilization, so a natural precipitate of potassium bitartrate and coloring matter may appear in the bottle, which does not affect the quality of the wine.
Service temperature: 18ºC
Pairing: Red meats, roasts, and stews.
