Evening primrose oil stands out for its richness in essential fatty acids (gammalinoleic acid and gammalinolenic acid - GLA), which are necessary for the correct production of prostaglandins (precursors of hormones capable of regulating many functions of our organism). A lack of GLA triggers a series of problems such as skin dryness and irritation, liver abnormalities, alterations in the production of prostaglandins and even growth problems in children.
