Sparkling Wine Fragantia No. 6
TheWhite Wine Fragantia No. 6 has been made with the grape variety 100% Moscatel.
For the elaboration of theSparkling Wine Fragantia No. 6 the grapes are harvested at night in the month of September, looking for the coolest time.
The grapes are kept submerged in carbonic snow from the time of harvesting until the moment of pressing, thus extracting all the aromas contained in the skins, a cold pre-fermentation maceration at 5ºC for 5 hours is carried out in the press.
Afterwards, a gentle pressing is carried out, extracting only the free-run juice. The process ends naturally by finding the perfect balance between acidity, alcohol content and sugar.
The wine is kept at 0ºC until bottling to preserve all the natural carbon dioxide from the fermentation process. The gas contained in Fragantia No. 6 Sparkling Wine is obtained during fermentation and is absolutely natural, integrating the bubbles perfectly with the wine.
Finca Constancia is located in the municipality of Otero, province of Toledo, and was acquired by González Byass in 2000. Finca Constancia was born with an avant-garde idea of integrated winery and vineyard, similar to the traditional Bordeaux concept of châteaux.
Bodegas González Byass was founded in 1835, currently owns 1,844 hectares of vineyards spread throughout Spain and its wine production satisfies national and international palates.
