The Puerto de Indias Strawberry gin provides an intense aroma of strawberries and juniper with an elegant citrus note.
The Puerto de Indias Distillery was created at the end of the 19th century, one of the oldest in Andalusia. Since 2013, the Puerto de Indias gin has been produced. Its name is related to the discovery of America, when Seville was the main port of trade between Spain and the New World.
Gin Puerto de Indias Strawberry emerged as a mistake while making strawberry alcohol. It is made with copper stills over 130 years old, which adds a unique aniseed touch to a drink of this kind. It is also distilled using olive wood fire, and some of the best strawberries in the world are used, specifically strawberries from Huelva (Andalusia).
It uses strawberries from the province of Huelva (Andalusia) as the base for its maceration, which gives it its particular pink color and sweeter taste that tends to appeal to palates less accustomed to white liquors.
Appearance: Gin Puerto de Indias Strawberry has a very transparent pink color.
Nose: Light aromas of strawberry and juniper over high-quality alcoholic backgrounds.
Pallet: This gin has a smooth flavor with prominent notes of strawberry. The strawberries used to make this gin are of very good quality, making it unique in its category.
Gin Puerto de Indias Strawberry is perfect for pairing with premium tonics. Cocktails with varying intensities can be created, and it is also recommended to serve it with lemon-lime sodas or traditional tonics, accompanied by slices of fresh strawberries or red fruits to enhance its flavor.
