Zubelzu's piparras are grown in a small town in Gipuzkoa, Ibarra, in land carefully selected for this purpose. The elaboration of its products is as sustainable and respectful as possible with the environment and its natural cycles, thus guaranteeing the absence of chemical residues. In addition, all its production is accredited with the Basque Quality Label, which implies the use of selected seeds, an exhaustive control of cultivation and packaging, as well as a superior quality of its products.
In 2016 Zubelzu received the "Superior Taste Award", from iTQi, with one star for its most representative product, the Gilda de Ibarra. This seal of quality and taste is characterized for being the only one awarded by opinion leaders, chefs and sommeliers with Michelin stars
