Vineyards:
The grapes used to produce La Planta originate from vines older than 20 years. The soils are chalky-clay and the vines are 900 meters above sea level.
The climate of the region is very harsh, being extremely hot in summer and very cold in the winter. The variations in temperatures between day and night are very notable, this allows an excellent ripening process and creates an expressive wine.
The fields are low yielding, bringing a greater aromatic concentration to the end product.
Wine making:
After the harvest, which is completed by hand in small boxes that can carry up to 15kg, the grapes are put through a selection process.
The grapes are destemmed and then macerated in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature between 22ºC and 24ºC.
