Collection 245: Tradition and a vision of the future in a glass
Louis Roederer continues its quest for excellence with Collection 245, a champagne that embodies the richness of terroir and the evolution of sustainable viticulture. Inspired by the 2020 vintage, ripe and structured, this blend reflects the balance between fruit, freshness and complexity, with a selection of grapes from the House's historic vineyards: ‘La Rivière’, ‘La Montagne’ and ‘La Côte’.
Composed of 55% of the 2020 vintage, it is enriched with the freshness and depth of the Reserva Perpetua (35%), plus 10% of reserve wines aged in oak foudres, adding structure and spicy nuances. This meticulous blending captures the essence of each vintage, offering a vibrant, generous champagne with great ageing potential.
Collection 245 stands out for its aromatic complexity and enveloping texture.
On the nose, it displays intense aromas of ripe citrus fruits, yellow fruits and light floral hints.
On the palate, its dense, silky structure is balanced by a vibrant freshness, giving way to notes of toast, dried fruits and a subtle smoky nuance. Its long, elegant finish makes it an ideal champagne for gastronomy and with excellent evolution potential.
