Their pigs spend the first stage of their life on their farm, feeding on natural cereals made in their facilities until they reach a weight of between 40 and 50kg, when they access the meadows.
There, they enjoy an exquisite diet composed of this selection of cereals in addition to grass, tubers, roots, and acorns, reaching 90/100kg in early October (when the montanera begins), a moment when the acorns fall and they feed exclusively on them until they reach an approximate weight of 180kg in their adult stage. This is essential to maintain the Iberian breed and be able to call it acorn-fed Iberian.
