Cirsus Special Cuvée is a wine made with Tempranillo, Merlot, and Syra grapes, with a Designation of Origin Pago.
Produced in the Pago de Cirsus winery, which makes wines with grapes from its own estate, the production and bottling are done on the estate itself, allowing for maximum respect for the qualities of the raw material.
Pago de Cirsus Cuvée Especial is made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Merlot, and Syrah, which are manually harvested in 15-kilogram boxes. The Tempranillo and Syrah varieties are harvested in the first weeks of October, and the Merlot variety in the first week of September.
The grapes are macerated at a temperature of 5ºC, and undergo alcoholic fermentation in French oak vats. This wine undergoes an aging process of 14 months in new French oak barrels.
Pago de Cirsus Cuvée Especial is ideal to accompany red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
It is recommended to consume this wine at a temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
