La Montesa is a crianza made with Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Mazuelo with a strong presence of aromas such as ripe fruit, it is pleasant and velvety.

La Montesa is a classic Rioja wine with some modern features. Montesa Palacios Remondo carefully oversees the entire process with the tradition that their extensive experience in the wine world provides. It is a wine with a noticeable Mediterranean character.
It is made from vineyards over 20 years old. Manual harvesting. Once destemmed, the must undergoes natural alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with periodic pumping over. Maceration for 23 days and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Aged for 12 months in a carefully selected collection of barrels. 85% are French oak and 15% are American oak.
La Montesa is ideal to accompany grilled red meats, white meats, roasted lamb, cured meats, and stews.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
