More information
Toro Albalá is one of the mythical wineries of Montilla-Moriles, founded in 1844 by Antonio Sánchez Prieto in Aguilar de la Frontera. Its Palo Cortado Marqués de Poley 1964 is one of the treasures hidden among its barrels. It is the first Palo Cortado that the winery launches to the market, a wine with a very special personality, only suitable for those eager for new flavors and those already experienced in Jerez and Montilla-Moriles wines. Amber in color with touches of old gold, it is a fortified wine made from Pedro Ximénez grapes, aged in American oak barrels. Aromas of dried fruits, spices, and subtle hints of matchstick. A very particular style that in the mouth is a fine and elegant drink. Personality and structure presented in a flask format to be enjoyed in small doses.
