Tihom Tinto 2019 is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Tihom , a small family project located in Pesquera de Duero. It is produced mainly with Tempranillo from old vineyards in the area , grown on limestone soils characteristic of the Ribera del Duero, which give structure and character to the wine.
After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged in French oak barrels , where it refines and develops greater complexity without losing the expression of the fruit.
The nose presents aromas of ripe black fruit, hints of licorice and light spicy nuances , accompanied by delicate toasted notes from the aging. The palate is balanced and structured, with ripe tannins, good acidity and a long, pleasant finish. A Ribera del Duero with character, ideal to accompany red meats, roasts or traditional dishes.
