Atauta Stop 2019, made with tempranillo and aged for twelve months in French oak barrels, seems to us a wine faithful to its origin, it is fruity, fresh, and friendly. An elegant and harmonizing wine.
Dominio de Atauta wineries were founded in the year 2000 in San Esteban de Gormaz at an altitude of around 1,000 meters, one of the highest in Ribera del Duero.
Parada de Atauta 2019 is a 100% Tinto Fino monovarietal. The wine is made from a selection of very old vineyards, looking for vines located in sandy and pebbly soils, providing better ripening and greater fruit intensity. It is made in concrete and stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in wooden vats and then it is aged in barrels for 12 months.
Parada de Atauta is ideal to accompany white and red meats, particularly lamb or kid roasts, stews with mushrooms, rice dishes, semi-cured and cured cheese, all kinds of mushrooms, rice black pudding, and black truffle.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
