It is obtained by maceration of star anise from China or Vietnam, next to provencal aromatic plants and water, as well as licorice from the East Forest and cola nut. The merit of the Pastis 51 is that its ingredients are macerated , unlike the Pernod obtained by distillation.
Pastis 51 presents a yellow color. It has aromas of provencal herbs and anise and a aniseed flavor.
