Patxaran Gaizka Egurrez (barrel-aged) is a limited batch of 576 bottles of the only barrel-aged patxaran. Based on our Patxaran Gaizka, made from pitted sloe berries, we wanted to age this premium patxaran in barrels toasted with wood, following the traditional method.

The use of barrels gives the patxaran hints of vanilla and caramel, resulting in an elegant yet complex profile. Sloe, vanilla, wood, and anise are among the aromas that greet us. Upon tasting, the silky texture invites further exploration, revealing the freshness of the sloe berries with echoes of fresh wood, contrasting with the sweetness of anise, cherry, and vanilla notes.
