Soft, matured cheese (mild - semi-cured). Made with pasteurized cow's milk. The flavor is intense, smooth, and buttery. The rind is light, sticky, and orange-yellow with some whitish areas. Artisan production in eastern Asturias. This cheese is made in Alles, Peñamellera Alta. Store in a cold place between 1 and 8 degrees Celsius. To enjoy its best flavor, take it out of the packaging and refrigerator a while before consuming. The time needed to reach its optimal temperature is shorter than more mature cheeses.
