Red Wine Piedra Roble
It is a wine from Bodegas Estancia Piedra, made from 85% red bull grapes and 15% Grenache from the vineyards of the estates Paraje Estancia Piedra (1968) and Laviuda (1998).
The grapes are harvested by hand, in 20kg boxes, during the second half of September. When the grapes arrive at the winery, they are placed on the selection tables for strict quality control.
The Piedra Roble red wine undergoes an 8-day fermentation in 15,000-liter stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (maximum 25ºC) with frequent pumping over, followed by malolactic fermentation in tanks and aging for 4 months in French oak barrels. Stabilization is tartaric by cold and amicrobic filtration.
