Production and Aging

Pinna Fidelis Roble 2020 is made with 100% Tinta del País grapes. Once the grapes are selected, the wines macerate for 25 days in order to extract the full concentration of the grapes and to round and refine the tannins.

Aging takes place in selected American oak barrels from the best forests, where the wine remains for 6 months. During its time in the barrel, the barrels are topped up and racked during the spring. Finally, the wine is clarified with egg whites and bottled.

Tasting Notes of Pinna Fidelis Roble 2020

• Appearance: Pinna Fidelis Roble has a very deep cherry red color with violet tones in the final layer.
• Nose: Intense fresh red fruit, strawberry, raspberry, red currant, perfectly integrated with wood, balsamic notes, subtle spices, and light toasty undertones.
• Palate: Round and robust tannins that bring finesse with great persistence in perfect balance with acidity.

Pairing

Pinna Fidelis Roble is ideal to accompany lamb stews, beef, red meats, and cheeses.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 14 and 16ºC.
