Red Wine Casa La Rad is an excellent choice for wine lovers. Produced by Bodegas Casa La Rad, this red wine is part of the prestigious Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin (D.O.Ca Rioja), one of the most recognized in Spain and the world. Its careful production and marked personality make it an essential wine for those who want to enjoy an exceptional glass.
This wine is composed of a balanced blend of varieties: 65% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from vineyards located at an altitude between 630 and 675 meters. The vines, with an average age of 40 years, grow on mineral-rich soils, with ferruginous, limestone, and clay elements, on rocky terrain that provides concentration and depth to the wine.
The manual harvest, carried out in the second week of October, ensures meticulous selection of the grapes. After destemming, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 26ºC for 15 days, using selected yeasts. Subsequently, a post-fermentative maceration of 7 days is carried out, reaching a total of 22 days to extract the maximum color, tannins, and varietal expression.
The malolactic fermentation is carried out in 500 and 225-liter French oak barrels, allowing for greater integration of the wood in the wine. The wine then ages for 18 months in barrels: 65% French oak and 35% American oak, with 25% new barrels, providing structure, aromatic complexity, and a silky texture.
The result is an elegant wine, with notes of ripe black fruits, spices, balsamic touches, and a mineral background that reflects the terroir's identity. Ideal for pairing with red meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses.
If you are looking to buy high-quality red wine, Red Wine Casa La Rad is a safe bet. Do not hesitate to contact our online sommelier for personalized advice without obligation.
