The D.O. Rioja Crianza wine from Martínez Lacuesta is made with 100% Tempranillo grapes from vineyards that are 25 years old, all located in the municipality of Haro. It is the most well-known wine from the winery. With a cherry red color and garnet edge, medium layer, it has an elegant mouthfeel. On the nose, it stands out for its power, high alcohol content, and notes of ripe red fruits, with hints of sweet spices and fine cocoa. Excellent balance, pleasant freshness, and great structure with soft tannins. It has a very round mouthfeel, being a tasty, meaty, and spicy wine. Naturally fermented, the selected wines from the 2018 harvest enter barrels in February 2019, and until bottling in September 2020, they undergo 4 manual rackings, allowing the wine to develop the body that we finally enjoy in our homes.
