Red Wine Piedra Prohibida.
It is a wine from Bodegas Estancia Piedra, made with 100% garnacha grapes from the vineyards of the estates Pago Bocarrage (1967), garnacha sautéed in a sea of reds.
The grape harvest is done manually, in 20kg boxes, during the second half of September, when the grapes arrive at the winery they are placed on selection tables for strict quality control.
The red wine Piedra Prohibida undergoes an 8-day fermentation in a 15,000-liter stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature of 25ºC, then undergoes malolactic fermentation in the tank and aging for 4 months in second-year French oak barrels.
