Red Wine Frontonio Supersonic from Bodega Epilense de Vinos y Viñedos, belongs to the IGP Valdejalón (Aragón) and is made with 100% Garnacha grape varieties.
“The Winemaker's favorite, pure fresh, lively and light garnacha”
Frontonio Supersonic gets its name from San Frontonio, the patron saint of Épila, a town located in the northwest of Spain where this wine is produced. Legend has it that San Frontonio was decapitated by the Romans. His body was buried in a cemetery and his head was thrown into the Ebro River, at the height of Zaragoza.
Miraculously, his head was found upstream, on one of the banks of the Jalón River, in Épila. Against the current, like the limited production wine you have in your hands today, which has been discreetly made in a humble garage by Fernando Mora and Mario López.
