But, what rum(s), what grape(s) to use? Maison Arhumatic wanted to reinvent this perfume by imposing a particular, out-of-the-ordinary work. Their research led them to create their own blend combining 3 traditional rums. Two rums from Jamaica, one of them aged in barrels for 12 months, selected for its woody character that had to be tempered with another traditional barrel-less Jamaican rum, and a rum from Guadalupe aged in the undergrowth. The trio of grapes harmoniously completes this new creation.
The grape varieties were chosen for their gustatory qualities and their complementarity in the balance of this new recipe.
