Kraken Black Spiced is a rum made with a blend of rums from the Caribbean.
The dark black color is inspired by the mysterious ink black with which, according to legend, the Kraken covered its prey. Kraken has been named a Hot Brand by Impact magazine.
Kraken Black Spiced is distilled in steel stills in the Virgin Islands and fermented with sugar cane honey. It is then aged for 12 to 14 months in oak barrels. It is flavored with a recipe of aromatic ingredients (11 in total) including cinnamon, ginger and cloves. To achieve its deep dark color, caramel is added.
